FIELD: metallurgy, particular, thermochemical treatment of chemical equipment of high-pressure steam boilers, components of gas turbins and jet engines in aircraft manufacture; applicable for protection of alloys from corrosion, in particular, with their service at high temperatures in oxygen-containing medium and fuel combustion products containing sulfur. SUBSTANCE: method includes high-temperature oxidation of alloys in oxygen-containing medium in two stages. At the first stage, high-temperature oxidation is carried out in vacuum at residual oxygen partial pressure of not in excess of 1 Pa. At the second stage, high- temperature oxidation is carried out at oxygen pressure of (0.5-1.7) 10 •105 Pa. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
