FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: prior to the protective film application from the samples surface at room temperature in the inert environment by the mechanical method the input oxide film is completely removed, and the protective film of titanium nitride is applied, it is deposited from the eutectic melt Na-K containing titanium, at nitrogen concentration in the reaction volume 0.05-0.10 wt %, titanium content in amount of 0.5-1.0% of weight of steel and Cr-based alloy samples, and at temperature in range 720-750°C. In particular case of the invention implementation the protective film of titanium nitride is applied with thickness 100-150 nm.
EFFECT: increased corrosion resistance of the protective films under dynamic loads of the heating medium flow in the power units.
