FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in construction of industrial and public buildings, surface, buried and underground structures, with high resistance to seismic and explosive occurrences. Small-size structures are made of plates of variable rigidity and due to rational configurations and dimensions featuring low material intensity at high specific strength and load-bearing capacity. Embodiment of small-size structure in the form of rigidly interconnected blocks in longitudinal, lateral and vertical planes makes entire structure monolithic and allows for taking high dynamic loads at low amount of material used in manufacture. This is achieved due to connection of outer walling by means of longitudinal and lateral straight arches and also due to additional connections of walling members and straight arches correspondingly with members of base and roofing. Small-size structure possesses high operating properties, it can be made sectional and requires no welding operations for erection. EFFECT: high efficiency. 8 dwg
