FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking patient blood from vein before and after subcutaneous injection of 0.5 ml of 0.1% serotonin solution. Patient blood serum is mixed with sheep erythrocytes treated with serotonin in dilutions being multiples of 2. The mixture is kept at 37-37.5 C during 50-60 min and at 4 C during 18-20 h. Hemagglutinizing antibodies titer is evaluated. No titer changes being observed after serotonin application, multiple sclerosis diagnosis is to be set. EFFECT: simplified diagnosis method. 4 tbl
