FIELD: medicine, immunoneurology. SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of titer of antiacetylcholine antibodies in patient serum blood. The parent patient blood is analyzed by addition of sheep erythrocyte 1% suspension (0.1-0.2 ml) treated with acetylcholine to 0.1-0.2 ml serum blood at 2-fold dilution. Mixture is incubated at 37-37.5 C for 50-60 min and then at the room temperature for 22-24 h. Patient blood is analyzed by the same procedure in 30 min after subcutaneous administration of proserine solution. Myasthenia is diagnosed if the parent titer is decreased by 4-fold or more. EFFECT: simplified method, decreased cost, high precision and specificity. 4 tbl, 5 ex
