FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of determination of coordinates of object includes radiation of radio pulses into observation zone, their reception and measurement in several points of space distant from radiation point of one of energy characteristics of received radio pulses. Radiation parameters are so chosen that create energy deficit in point of location of object and by this redistribution of energy over front of incident wave thanks to action on structure of electronic shell of chemical element located on surface of object. Decision on presence of object in observation zone is made by results of comparison of obtained redistribution of values of energy characteristic of radio pulses measured in reception points with its redistribution corresponding to absence of object carrying specified chemical element. Angular coordinates of object are fixed as angle of radiation of bursts of radio pulses in angle of elevation and azimuth planes at present moment and distance to object is registered as distance corresponding to chosen value of electromagnetic wave passed through object without distortion of front. EFFECT: enhanced precision of method.
