FIELD: railway transport; ac power supply. SUBSTANCE: device has supply bus 1 and return bus 2 of fraction substation, first feeder 3 and second feeder 4. First direct-polarity diode unit 5 is placed in break of first feeder 3. Second reverse-polarity diode unit 6 is placed in break of second feeder 4. Contact system of first track 7 is connected to first feeder, and that of second track 8, to second feeder. Contact systems of both tracks are interconnected by bridges 9. Electric locomotives 10 are connected between contact system and rails 11 which are connected to return bus 2. In this device diode units distributed over section are replaced by bridges. Diode units are placed in break near each point of connection of contact systems of both tracks with one of sides of contact systems. EFFECT: reduced power and voltage losses in contact system. 1 dwg
