FIELD: electroluminescent light sources. SUBSTANCE: method involves formation of electroluminescent film by covering face side of conducting layer that functions as electrode of definite form with phosphor layer in insulating material and drying it out, formation of conducting film by continuously applying and drying insulating layer on other conducting layer, connection of luminescent and conducting layers under pressure while heating them, and formation of emitting region of indicator panel, sealing of emitting region by means of protective films, separation into individual structures, and sealing of ends of structures; novelty is that placed between conducting film made transparent and electroluminescent film is power bus made of metal foil and covered with insulating adhesive material attached to one side of metal foil on electroluminescent film end; films and power bus are joined by drawing from coil through pair of rolls. In addition, through holes may be made in luminescent film with power bus placed between mentioned films in position corresponding to through holes need for wiring terminal leads.
