FIELD: plastic metal working. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes carriage provided with mechanism for clamping blank and with joint assembly and mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion in direction of blank feed and kinematically joined by levers with movable plate of die set. Apparatus also includes additional carriage with joint assembly with possibility of reciprocation motion in direction of movable plate stroke and spring-loaded relative to plate along part of its stroke value. One ends of two levers mutually inclined by constant angle are secured one to another with possibility of their simultaneous rotation. Other ends of levers may move in lengthwise direction in joint assemblies of carriages. EFFECT: increased length of blanks fed to die set, enlarged manufacturing possibilities at making complex articles in automatic mode of die set operation. 5 dwg
