FIELD: medicine, traumatology, diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: both deeper and cutaneous temperatures in fracture area should be measured in patients with fractures of shin bones thrice at an interval of 7 days beginning at 3-7 days after fixation and finish of fragments' correction by using radiothermometer of 20 cm range. Then difference between deeper and cutaneous temperatures should be calculated according to the following formula: F=5.4639 x X1-4.5360 x X2-2.2680 x X3+0.6907, where X1, X2, X3 are the values for the difference between deeper and cutaneous temperatures for 3rd-7th, 10th-14th, 17th-21st days after operation, correspondingly.
