METHOD OF ASSESSMENT OF EFFICIENCY OF INTRAVENOUS LASEROTHERAPY IN TREATMENT FRACTURES OF LONG TUBULAR BONES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2141671 C1

FIELD: medicine, particularly, traumatology; applicable in treatment of open fractures of long tubular bones under conditions of perosseous osteosynthesis. SUBSTANCE: after patient hospitalization and on 5-7-th day after perosseous osteosynthesis (and-3 procedures of intravenous laserotherapy), time corresponding to the second phase of blood coagulant (in seconds) and value of systematic fibrinolilysis (in %) are determined by thromboelastogram. Simultaneously photometric parameter of passing of blood serum specimen in optical units is determined by method of polarization photometry. Single-direction reduced of blood coagulation time in the second phase and value of photometric parameter equalling 0.08 optical unit and more, are indicative of good sensitivity of organism and effect of intravenous laserotherapy on process of treatment of fractures of long tubular bones is assessed as positive. Single-direction increase of time of blood coagulation in the second phase, and value of systemic fibrinolysis, and value of photometric parameter equalling less than 0.08 optical unit indicate absence of effect of intravenous laserotherapy. In this case, tactics of postoperative treatment is corrected and course of intravenous helium-neon laserotherapy is increased. EFFECT: simple in realization, provided objectivity in assessment of efficiency of intravenous helium-neon laserotherapy in treatment of fractures of long tubular bones at early stages of postoperative period.
