FIELD: medicine; pediatrics. SUBSTANCE: method resides in determining chloracetate-AS-D esterase concentration levels associated with neutrophil granulocytes of peripheral blood in inactivated neutrophils and in neutrophils subjected to activating effect of combined stimulator comprising hemolytic staphylococcus allergen, and heparin-tetrazolium complex. Relationship between chloracetate-AS-D esterase concentration level in inactivated neutrophils and that in activated neutrophils makes it possible to establish esterase consumption factor. If latter declines, forecast is made on unfavorable course of purulent-septic disease, whereas with increasing esterase consumption factor favorable course of disease may be expected. Method provides objective picture of child's health. EFFECT: immunoactive therapy can be conducted on correct basis; enhanced treatment efficiency; shorter stay of sick children in stationary. 3 tbl
