FIELD: gas purification. SUBSTANCE: biofilter contains a layer of biologically active filter material placed on horizontal supporting grating in closed space restricted with vertical side walls, cover, and bottom; air duct adapted for feeding gas-air release under supporting grating; and pipeline for withdrawing release having been passed through biologically active filter material. Main part of the latter consists of a cereal straw impregnated with nutrient medium, and withdrawing pipeline constitutes clearance between side walls and cover inclined from side walls inwards to the symmetry axis with slope 1-2 deg.
