FIELD: composite materials and aircraft engineering. SUBSTANCE: carrying tubular housing contains cellular-structure framework composed of, repeated across housing wall thickness, layers of systems of crossing helical, longitudinal , and annular tapes made of one-direction threads forming stiffening ribs between cross nodal points and outer protective coating. Layers of annular tapes are provided with inclined adapters made as one piece with them and forming, across framework wall thickness, additional inclined stiffening ribs crossing with those formed by tapes. Additional ribs are disposed in series in direction of helical curve and along generatrices of tubular housing. They are also shifted to each other in circular direction. Tubular housing is made according to a method, in which core is covered with rubber-like material with mutually crossing grooves, into which aforementioned crossing tapes are put preliminarily impregnated with binder to form stiffening ribs between their cross nodal points, whereupon tapes are covered with shaping members and thermally treated followed by withdrawal of core and rubber-like material. The latter, according to invention, is molded in the form of flat plates on thermostatically controlled polyurethane molds having mirror image of plate outline, which plates are then solidified. When the plates are applied on core, they are secured in grooves under annular tapes by the aid of girdles made of one-direction threads and a fibrous material. Adapter-holder for manufacturing tubular housing includes a core covered with rubber-like material with mutually crossing grooves supposed to receive tapes forming framework stiffening ribs. Rubber- like material is made up of flexible thermally stabilized flat plates fastened to stiffening ribs by means of radially installed bar members and girdles disposed in grooves under annular tapes.
