FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, shelled structures of hull members used in aviation, rocket engineering operating in conditions of the state of stress, methods and mandrels for their manufacture. SUBSTANCE: carrying pipe-shell has a cellular framework made of systems of crossing spiral and annular bands repeating in thickness of the layer wall and forming stiffening ribs with crossings and external coating layers made of unidirectional threads fastened by solidified polymeric binder. Damping-absorbing layers of elastic material of the rubber type, polyurethane, are placed between the layers. The method of manufacture of pipe-shell consists in introduction of intermediate continuous shaping bands under the layers laid under tension. The offered mandrel has intermediate shaping bands of elastic material duplicated with the bands and placed in mutually crossed grooves. EFFECT: enhanced strength. 4 cl, 8 dwg
