FIELD: electrolytic processes; protective coatings. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to applying black chromium coatings on blades, pistols, tommy guns, and other camouflage landing weapon, and may also be applied for parts of cinematographic and photographic apparatuses, medical tools, cutlery, and other protective-ornamental parts of consume goods. Electrolyte contains (in g/l): chromium trioxide, 150-500; potassium ferrocyanide, 4-10; sulfuric acid, 0.02-0.5; potassium fluorosilicate, 0.1-0.5; and additionally 0.2-1.0 g/l of remote- synthesis carbon.
