FIELD: heating by means of microwave energy in food, process, and other industries where heat treatment of insulating materials is required. SUBSTANCE: plant has heating chambers 1 in the form of trough waveguide sections with material feeding ports, microwave energy supplies 2,3 placed against each other, material conveyer 4, longitudinal hot-air blasting system 5, and transverse hot-air blasting system 6. Heating chambers 1 are interconnected in plane parallel to longitudinal axes of trough waveguides and perpendicular to movement plane of conveyer 4 which is free to move through ports of trough waveguides; length and width of transverse blasting chamber 6 depend on number of heating chambers 1 and capacity of microwave energy supplies 2 and 3.
