FIELD: treatment of newly harvested grain prior to laying in storage. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing contaminants from grain; forming flow of aerosol of propionic acid by ultrasonic dispersion and flow of grain; directing flow of aerosol and flow of grain through opposite pole electret nozzles and providing counter-current contacting of flows. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and improved quality of grain.
