FIELD: agricultural meteorology. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing aerosol with atmospheric air compressed to pressure value twice that in cloud or fog medium at temperature not exceeding 5 C; directing mixture into nozzle, from which it is discharged at acoustic speed. Mixture is oversaturated with water steam in nozzle, subjected to adiabatic expansion in atmosphere and heated to spontaneous critical freezing temperature, at which water drops produced during oversaturation freeze. Effective temperature range is 0- -6 C. EFFECT: increased efficiency in scattering and precipitating clouds and preventing hailing and simplified method. 2 dwg
