FIELD: hydrometeorology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometeorology, namely to methods of active actions on warm and supercooled fogs in order to provide favorable weather conditions for functioning of cosmodromes, airports and road-transport communications. Initial active working medium is sublimed, followed by propagation of the formed active gas composition in the ground layer of the atmosphere. Composition is preliminary formed, where the initial active medium used is ground zinc, which is placed in a refractory vessel made from carbon material – graphite. Then the vessel together with ground zinc is heated to temperature of 900–1,000 °C and zinc is sublimed in the presence of carbon material. Zinc oxide nanotubes set is obtained, which is mixed with ambient air and discharged into atmosphere.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of active actions on warm and supercooled fogs and clouds, which are in surface layer of atmosphere.
