FIELD: mining industry; industrial compressor shops; plants for liquefying air and other gases; gas pipeline compressor stations. SUBSTANCE: compressor has housing with compression chambers 2, compressing members 3 suction and delivery branch pipes 4, 5, external cooling members 6 and drive 7. Screens 8 installed in compression chambers 2 follow the shape of compression chambers 2 and are rigidly secured by part of their surfaces to walls of chambers. Screens 8 are made two-layer, with inner layer 10 adjoining the wall of compression chamber 2 made of insulating material, and outer layer, of strips 11, 12 made of materials with different values of thermo-electromotive force coefficients placed in series in spaces of inner layer. Strips are brought out of compression chamber 2 at both sides of screen through housing 1. At one side, strips are connected to terminals 18 of transformer according to values of their thermo-electromotive force coefficients. Transformer 19 is connected to current line 20. At other side, strips are rigidly interconnected and this joint is brought into contact with external cooling members of compressor housing 1.
