FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this device is intended for use in food producing, milk processing, brewery, fermentation, preserved food production, and other enterprises. Device has vertical pipes which are finned externally and internally, and bath with slot-like distributors for delivery of liquid food product to pipes in the form of film. Finning on internal surface of vertical pipes is made in the form of vertical passages of tapered and oval configuration located successively over circumference. Parameters of passages are determined according to relations brought forth in description of invention. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device affords higher productive capacity due to intensified heat exchange between liquid food product and cooling agent in boiling condition.
