FIELD: refrigerating and cryogenic engineering; evaporators and condensers of refrigerating machines. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has hermetically sealed housing 1 accommodating flat multiple-channel pipe 2 coiled into spiral forming spiral channel limited at two sides by end face walls of housing. This channel serves for inter tube space medium. Heat exchanger has also tube space medium inlet and outlet branch pipes 4 and 5, respectively, connected to above indicated tube, intertube space medium inlet and outlet branch pipes 6 and 7, respectively. According to invention, heat exchanger has partition 3 in form of spiral tape installed in channel for intertube apace medium connected by side edges to end face walls of housing 1 and dividing above indicated channel into two spiral channels. Inlet and outlet branch pipes 6 and 7 of intertube space medium are placed in communication with these channels. These branch pipes can be placed in communication with intertube space medium channels in zone 5 adjoining tube 2. Tube space medium inlet branch pipe 4 can be connected to some channels of tube 2, and outlet branch pipe 5, to remaining channels, at the same end of tube at which inlet branch pipe is connected. Above-indicated parts of channels at other end of tube 2 are placed into communication through manifold. EFFECT: increased heat transfer coefficient. 3 cl, 6 dwg
