Abstract RU 2084984 C1

FIELD: plasma physics, radio physics, design of amplifiers and generators of electromagnetic oscillations for wide range of frequencies. SUBSTANCE: proposed method and device enable energy of optical radiation of IR, visible and UV ranges to be directly converted to energy of SHF oscillations in absence of source of electric power supply. Method and device do not require cooling to superlow temperatures and presence of external magnetic field. Device is capable of automatic restoration of operational characteristics after unusual breakdowns and short-circuits. Voltages generated across output of proposed device are 1-2 orders higher than indices of semiconductor devices. Their amplification factor is at present comparable with amplification factor of quantum amplifiers. EFFECT: increased amplification factor of proposed device. 2 cl, 1 dwg
