FIELD: high-power electronics. SUBSTANCE: electron-beam generator includes pumping out system, electron gun with cathode and anode units, plasma gun with ring cathode, counteracting electrode and hydrogen generators built-in in cylindrical capsules. Body of both guns is made in the form of unsplit block based on ceramic ring insulators. Spheric plasma boundary from which ions to heat cathode of gun are picked passes in space between anode and cathode of gun. Electrons move to meet flux of ions and to form high-compression beam. Plasma diffuses towards cavity resonator. Gas goes from hydrogen generators into toroidal space of gun through system of holes uniformly distributed along azimuth. Ionized gas gets into region of electron beam through slit in counteracting electrode located in symmetry between spaces of holes of anode electrodes.
