FIELD: medical radiology. SUBSTANCE: essence of invention consists in performing computer tomography involving determination of focus on images and its localization. Once focus detected, disturbance degree of functionality of parenchyma of injured kidney around volume formation is determined. In this case, total number of volume elements and their summary number in image cuts of injured and contralateral kidney is counted. When the former parameter is less than 0.65 and/or the latter less than 0.75, functionality of parenchyma of injured kidney is stated and existence of invasive growth of tumor is diagnosed. EFFECT: optimized procedure.
