FIELD: medicine; phthisiology. SUBSTANCE: patients are subjected to at least three hemocarboperfusion procedures using ozonized sorbent, procedures being spaced apart by time interval of at least 3 days until cessation of bacterial discharge which is regarded as criterion of stabilized tuberculosis process. Inventive novelty of proposed method resides in using carbon sorbent which serves as monoatomic oxygen storage agent. Additional advantage of carbon sorbent resides in fact that, while alleviating aggressive properties of ozone, it permits to carry out long-term treatment of blood with ozone, thereby creating killing medium for tuberculosis mycobacteria. Use of treatment procedures recommended by proposed method results in abacillation of patients, including patients who are tolerant to traditional therapeutic methods. EFFECT: invention offers basically new method for treating pulmonary tuberculosis even in heaviest cases. 10 dwg
