FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry, methods of cellulose sulfate production waste gasses purification. SUBSTANCE: aim is to simplify process of harmful, bad smelling gas exhausts utilization process with decrease of power and used equipment metal consumption and simultaneous increase of gas exhausts purification degree. Aim is realized due to the fact, that gas exhausts purification is exercised using adsorption of sulfur-bearing products on porous catalyst in mode of movable layer under temperature equal to gas exhausts temperature with following regeneration of catalyst in separate reactor in pseudoliquid layer under temperature of 300 - 700 C. Method allows to exercise purification of gasses without their preliminary heating under temperature equal to temperature of gas exhausts, that is with significant decrease of power consumption. In the case dimensions of purification equipment are decreased by several times with keeping of required productivity and increase of gasses purification degree and sulfur regeneration.
