Abstract RU 2085420 C1

FIELD: transport engineering; car accessories. SUBSTANCE: heated nozzles of car windshield and rear window washers are used in cold weather to maintain washer system in serviceable condition by heating air space under water directing member. Heated nozzle has plastic body, plastic water supply union, spiral wire resistor with leads for connecting to power supply system and at least one water directing member with through hole, all installed in plastic body. Metal tube is installed between union and water directing member in direction of water flow. Inlet and outlet portions of tube are fitted flush with opposite circular seats of corresponding diameter made in body and union. Wire resistor is wound over middle portion of metal tube. Its turns are located in air space of body into which resistor leads are passed through diametrically opposite sides of tube. Plate electric contacts projecting from body and pressed to inner wall of body by their support flats are connected to resistor leads. Conical seat is provided in body at side of water directing member. Seat is mated over larger diameter with corresponding circular seat. Water directing member is located in body channel brought out of conical seat and made in form of metal ball interference fitted so that axis of its through hole intersects axis of conical seat. Each support flat of union has crosswise slots and corresponding plate contact has cross shape. Member of cross electric contact are fitted in mated slots of support flat. Leads of resistor are connected to corresponding plate electric contacts by soldering. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
