SUBSTANCE: device 1 for use of liquid 8 in ultraviolet radiation has vessel 2 with lateral walls 4 that in essence are transparent for ultraviolet radiation, having an effective wavelength for inactivation, supporting appliance 3 for holding and turning the vessel on it. Provision is made for an installation for ultraviolet radiation at least of part of turning vessel 2. Thin layer 9 of liquid 8 adjoining the surface of lateral wall 4 is turned around before ultraviolet installation 7 thereby being sterilized and mixed with the main volume of liquid 8.
