FIELD: road, rail and sea transport; storage, transportation and dispensing of aggressive liquid and gaseous materials. SUBSTANCE: container is made in form of barrel consisting of cylindrical shell and two convex bottom plates rigidly connected with protective and support skirts. Shutoff cocks and siphon tubes are installed on one of bottom plates to provided filling and complete draining of material from container. Tubes are interconnected through smaller flanges secured on larger flange. Shutoff cocks are covered by cap fixed by stud. Rims are fitted on cylindrical shell. Container has additionally six fusible safety devices installed on each bottom plate in its convex portion over circumference with diameter not less than 0.71 D where D is diameter of shell. Fusible safety devices are installed at equal distance from each other, three devices on each bottom plate. Safety devices of one bottom plate are displaced relative to those on other bottom plate through angle of 60 degrees. Four holes are made in flanged zones of each protective and support skirt. Holes are arranged over circumference symmetrically relative to each other. Diameters of protective and support skirts are equal to shell diameter. Stud for fixing the cap is made detachable, being provided with strip rigidly secured together with stud. Two holes are made in strip through which strip is connected with larger flange by means of fasteners. Holes made in smaller flanges serve for fixing siphon tubes by means of pins. EFFECT: improved reliability, longevity and safety of storage, and convenience of dispensing and draining of liquid and gaseous materials, prevention of breakage of container in emergency. 6 cl, 4 dwg
