FIELD: railway transport; tanks for carrying liquid loads. SUBSTANCE: horizontal tank has body with charging hatch, cover with cross-bar hinge mounted on body by means of post. Cover is formed by two plates placed one over the other and connected over perimeter by stiffening ring, and in middle zone, by rod member projecting over upper plate for engaging with cross-bar through support plate rigidly connected with two parallel plates forming the cross-bar and with strip installed in middle zone between plates. Plate with through hole for fitting-in hinged bolt is installed between two parallel plates and rigidly connected with extreme strip. Upper plate also installed between two parallel plates is rigidly connected with parallel plates and with above indicated extreme strip. Cross-bar handle and clamp for lead sealing the loads. Cross-bar is installed for fixing when charging the tank. Stop plates are installed on stiffening ring at side of hinge bolt and on head of hinged bolt. Stop plates are installed for interaction.
