FIELD: production of compounds of semiconductors and their tertiary solid solutions. SUBSTANCE: compound have common formula (R)2Te where R is lower alkyl. Dioxide of tellurium is used as reagent 1, suitable alkyl halogenide is used as reagent 2. Reaction is carried out at 10-17 C in aqueous-alkali solution in the presence of powder aluminium, mass ratio of Te and Al being 1:(1.0-5.0). EFFECT: improved efficiency. 1 tbl
