SUBSTANCE: device has spring which is compressed at one side by plate connected with drum by means of flexible coupling; drum is fitted on stock of wave propeller hydrofoil; at other side, spring is compressed by means of cross member connected with manual or power spring precompression mechanism. Optimal mode of operation within preset range of ship's speeds and swell Nos as well as avoidance of excessive lift may be obtained through control of spring stiffness.
