FIELD: aluminium production. SUBSTANCE: composite anode contact of aluminium electrolyzer with upper power supply contains steel rod cylindrically-shaped in its upper part and conically in lower part. To upper part of rod, aluminium bar is rigidly attached. To increase heat sink of near-contact coke-pitch layer, cylindrical part of rod extending over the surface of caking cone is provided with aluminium shell with thickness 0.05-0.3 rod diameter, and distance between the shell and lower end of steel rod is 0.6-0.8 as long as its length. EFFECT: increased heat sink of contact. 1 dwg
