FIELD: cryogenic engineering; control of technological processes in air separating plants for obtaining pure argon from raw argon by means of catalytic hydrogenation. SUBSTANCE: plant is provided with automatic control circuit with whose help flow rate of gaseous hydrogen to 1st and 2nd reactors is controlled. Information on content of oxygen in raw argon, pressure of raw argon and hydrogen, flow rate of raw argon, reaction temperature and excess hydrogen is used for forming electric control signals y1 and y2 in according with respective formulae.
