FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: two successive cycles of operations are conducted. During each of them case of radiation pyrometer is heated to fixed temperature, radiation flux is directed from object to sensitive element of pyrometer to which power from independent source is fed striving for equality of output signal of pyrometer to zero. Flux from object is shut off and equality of output signal of pyrometer is sought for by same technique again. Sought-for temperature of object is determined by solving system of two equations obtained by results of two of measurements. EFFECT: increased authenticity of method. 1 dwg
