FIELD: consumers goods. SUBSTANCE: stationary umbrella, in particular, large garden umbrella has pole with telescopically extensible part, upper bars pivotally secured on extensible part and supporting struts positioned between slide movable along umbrella pole and upper bars. Umbrella is further provided with top cover. Movable part of pole is connected with drive screw fixed in pole. Slide is connected with movable part of pole through flexible tension member passed over direction altering roller. Top cover is secured to crown movable along pole and connected to upper struts. Crown has pressure rods, whose lower ends are inserted through common guide along pole part. Umbrella pole has annular stop making support for guide. Umbrella may be used to protect against rain and sun rays. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 6 cl, 8 dwg
