FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with a spectacle correction by using an optic system as correcting spectacle lenses. Internal surface of glasses is applied with Fresnel's prisms in a combination that prismatic strength of every next prism is gradually increased in both sides against an intact area in pupil's projection, 1-3 mm width, being in the middle of a lense, depending upon the largest angle of inclination of visual optic axis against fixation site in marginal positions of nystagmus, moreover, spectacles should be worn daily for about 2 h, not less, the course lasts for about 3 mo, not less. The method enables to improve acuity, remove oscillopsia, decrease amplitude of nystagmus. EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. 2 cl, 5 dwg, 2 ex
