FIELD: transport engineering; hydraulic drives of slewing mechanisms of lifting cranes and hydraulic manipulators. SUBSTANCE: housing of proposed hydraulic cylinder has several, for instance, three coaxially arranged sections. Cylinder mirrors (surfaces along which pistons move) are formed in extreme sections. Pistons are connected to gear rack engaging with turning gear by means of cylindrical pins installed for sliding. Axes of pins are arranged square to rack displacement plane. Cylindrical grooves for installation of piston support bushing are made at edges of pistons. Detachable cylindrical attachments with conical slots and cylindrical holes and replaceable throttles for smoothly stopping the pistons are installed in working liquid inlet and outlet unions.
