FIELD: textile industry, in particular, production of filtering materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves reinforcing textile carcass with fibrous filament layer bundles and simultaneously forming pile loops; forming textile carcass by making fibrous web having layer of anion-exchange and cation-exchange modified polyamide filament mixture and layer of thermoplastic filament. Mixture contains 20-80% by weight of cation-exchange filament, fibrous web contains 15-20% by weight of thermoplastic filament. Layer of hydrophilic modified polyamide filament is used as filament layer. Ratio of filament and fibrous layers is 1 : (0.2-0.76). Upon reinforcing of textile carcass with fibrous layer, produced material is subjected to thermal treatment at temperature of 70-90 C.
