FIELD: manufacture of filtering material. SUBSTANCE: nonwoven material is made from ion-exchange modified polycaproamide fibers, with blend of anion-exchange fiber based on grafted copolymer of polycaproamide and polydiethylamine ethyl methacrylate and cation-exchange fiber based on phosphorylated grafted copolymer of polycaproamide and polygillicidyl methacrylate being used as ion-exchange modified polycaproamide fibers. Said blend contains 40-60% of phosphorylated grafted copolymer. Nonwoven material is used for manufacture of filtering members in gas trapping units. Material has increased protective properties as to soluble salt aerosols. EFFECT: improved quality of material and articles manufactured therefrom. 1 tbl
