BED MEASURING THRUST OF REACTION-TYPE ENGINE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology, measurement of thrust reaction-type engines predominantly under ground conditions. SUBSTANCE: bed includes immobile frame 1 hinged to mobile platform 2 with the aid of three supports 6 on prisms. Six pads 5 having grooves with cylindrical surface are anchored on upper surface of immobile frame 1 and on lower surface of mobile platform 2. Supports engage grooves of corresponding pads 5 with their prisms. Prisms in upper part of supports have triangular profile of section and direction of prism edges is perpendicular to planes of rocking of supports 6. Prisms in lower part of supports 6 have triangular profile of section and prism edges present arcs of circle. Balance beams 7 with weights 8 mounted for translation along axes of balance beams are anchored on supports 6. Engine 4 is installed on bracket-cooler 3 fixed on mobile platform 2.
