SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling quality of products, optimizing composition of materials, and technics of manufacturing carbon, graphitized, and refractory products from plastics. Method consists in heating thermoset products in inert medium to 200-300 C and holding them at this temperature for 40-60 min followed by visual evaluation of quality of surface. EFFECT: enabled reliable disclosure of defects' presence and possibility of predicting manufacture of quality products from thermosets resistant to high-temperature treatment up to 200-2300 C. 2 dwg
