FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: control gear of capacitor-start and capacitor-run induction motor has undercurrent relay 6 with transfer contacts of relays 5 and 6. Contacts of both relays are connected to power supply and to capacitor-start and capacitor-run induction motor leads using circuit arrangement ensuring connection of starting capacitor 3 and additional capacitor 4.2 either to power supply terminals or to mentioned motor terminals depending on input current. When motor is running and both capacitors are connected to power supply, reactive component of current is corrected. EFFECT: improved power characteristics of motor. 1 dwg
