FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: patient is confronted with test object made in form of luminous circles, color and spectral characteristics of which correspond to those of signal lights of ordinary traffic signals arranged in three rows comprising three circles each. Colors in circles alternate in random order and are exposed to ordinary illumination, to various degrees of dim-out and to double-sided illumination effected successively or in prescribed combinations. EFFECT: effective, cheap and rapid test for trainees in driving.
