FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises goggles held on patient's head by brackets secured to ears. Goggles comprise lens holders accommodating plates perforated with conically shaped openings. Diameter of openings on outer surface of plate is equal to 1.5 mm. Openings are arranged on plate in chess- board order in such manner that distance between neighboring openings in one row and in neighboring rows is equal to 4.5 mm. Base of opening taper lies on outer surface of plate, taper angle being 20-25 deg. Each plate has 60 such openings. Outer surface of plate is coated with light reflecting layer. Plates are provided with cutouts having diameter 24.5 mm and intended for looking at near objects. Apparatus can be used for relieving psychological strain, for relieving fatigue of eyes and for training eye's accommodation function. EFFECT: increased depth of acute vision zone; increased acuity of vision at remote objects; training of accommodation function; relieved psychological strain due to improved vision. 1 dwg
