FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: first applicator provided with coating emitting beta-rays is attached by suturing to patient's eye's sclera over neoplasm, followed by ultrasonic scanning of eye. Scannogram thus-obtained is used to control existence of contact between applicator and sclera over entire area of neoplasm projection. If contact is interrupted, maximum distance is measured between sclera and applicator. Depending on distance thus-measured, time is adjusted during which applicator acts to irradiate neoplasm with prescribed radiation dose. EFFECT: convenient and effective method for treating intraocular neoplasms. 1 dwg
