SUBSTANCE: the offered unit includes means for melting raw material and production of melt of preset composition in reducing atmosphere, device for modification of melt directed to mold, rotary-type mold with bandage diameter of, at least 1.55 m and recess in it in form of trapezium and large base-to-height ratio of 1.78-1.88. Length of zone of crystallization equals length of arc with central angle of 110-130 deg, and length of zone of secondary cooing equals the length of arc with central angle of 50-54 deg. In addition, unit also includes rolling mill, device for sharp cooling of wire rod installed between roughing and finishing stands.
