FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of alloys by way of combined continuous casting/metal rolling process. Alloy contains 0.03 to 0.3% of calcium and prepared using following operations: preparation of melt, alloying of copper, feeding melt into crystallizer through receiving tub and rolling thus obtained blank on rolling mill. Receiving tub is leaned with quicklime, which is applied in order to protect surface of tub from calcium. EFFECT: increased conductance of alloy and reduced undesired loss of calcium and contamination of alloy with other elements normally contained in leaning. 2 cl
